Before you scoff at this link, give it a serious chance. www.doombuggyproductions.com/imagineering.htmlIt's a site that shows you how to make Disneyland inspired creations. While I don't plan on doing any of the projects it did give some good insight on how to do similar things. They make cheap and attractive light up signs that look really cool and also made a couple cool Nightmare Before Christmas prop recreations. So have a look around. You may find some great ideas there. Hell, I may make a better quality lightbox for my mylar Event Horizon theater marquee I got from eBay. And while I know this doesn't fall into the exact mold of the artistic idea of our site it can help ideas for prop creation for our little videos.

lot of stuff there. too much for me to browse thru here at work. you really have no clue whats behind those links. I think in one of the last ones, they actually have for a MAGIC BOTTLE, which involves different household chemical sprays such as windex and lighter fluid!! they shouldn't have that on a kid site!!
What sucks (viewing this on IE 5.5 here at work) is that the pics cover up the "recipe". so, i havent a clue what it says or involves. will diffently view this over time. thanks for the link-up.

Yeah I had the problem with the pic coverups as well and had to switch to my other bowser to read it all. But I was especially drawn to the lightup displays, like the one for Star Tours and the arcade one, which used glass marbles in front of white christmas lights. I thought that was a great idea. Might combine some of the techniques to make a movie theater style light up poster frame. Those usually sell on ebay for about $150- $200.
