Thought of getting Sonar 5 PE? I can't even find a e-book on that, either.

Thought of getting Sonar 5 PE? I can't even find a e-book on that, either. As far as I knew, Sonar 5 wasn't out yet. Theres something called Project 5, version 2 floating around but its not a direct sonar decendant as a sonar 5 would be. I have Sonar 4 PE. I spent many frustrating moments trying to figure out why I couldnt hear any sound from it. Turns out my microsoft wavetable was not being read by the program as a midi output device. I got Rolands Sound Canvas 3 to be the midi output and it works fine now. S4 has more features than I know what to do with. This book, Sonar 4 Power seems to be highly recommended. I wonder if they have a dummies book....Sonar for dummies.....

I seen alot at Amazon, but no 'tutorials' online. For it being somewhat popular, I thought I would have found at least ONE.

I seen alot at Amazon, but no 'tutorials' online. For it being somewhat popular, I thought I would have found at least ONE. I've decided to forgoe the search for sonar power and tackle the 706 page user's manual. I'm starting to get better with the software. I've been playing with a plugin called drumkit from hell thats so good, its sick. This is going to top my sorrow of ages stuff by a landslide. I finally have the tools to put whats in my head to music. Very very happy right now. ;D Incidentally, the name 'lament' already belongs to a doom outfit in europe so i need a new moniker.
