Brought out one of Agalloch's albums, "The Mantle". Dam, I forgot how good this thing it. Its got Folk, Metal and Doom Influences all rolled up into one weird but really interesting slab of music.

I don't know why... but I never dug Doom. It's like listening to a vampiristic country singer speaking of apolyptic dog-days of lonliness. Oh wait.. that's JOhnny Cash. ;D

Agalloch is playing on Toronto on the 14th of October at the Opera House.

I'm not seeing a lot of love for Agalloch in this thread..i don't suppose anyone else is going to be running to the Opera house in Toronto on the 14th of October to see them?
