I'm in the middle of projects right now and want to hear suggestions for possible Peeps movie reenactments. Here is some criteria I use for deciding.
1. It needs to be common enough most people will be familiar with it. 2: It needs to be a simple enough story that I can condense it down to ten minutes. 3: I prefer that the list of characters is not too big. That makes for extra work. 4: It needs to translate well with Peeps. For instance I love the movies Session 9 and Angel Heart but those rely on atmosphere and wouldn't translate well with Peeps. 5: It has to be "doable". By that I mean it needs to be within my ability to create. Peeps Jaws did not work out by this rule because of the technicality of doing all the water effects.
So pitch some ideas if you got 'em. I'm all ears.

I once started an Alien one but lost all my footage from a computer crash but I have actually considered redoing it. And I also thought of the Dracula one. That might actually work. I can have him turn into one of the bat Peeps and everything.

Hmmm. Possibly. I'd need to watch that one again first though. Haven't seen it in fifteen years or so. And I opted to skip the remake completely.

One idea I'm tossing around is Peep Sematary. Heh heh heh. I still haven't made up my mind yet though.

OK, I think I've decided on doing Peep Sematary. I got the title song by The Ramones and using some audio tweaks, I can basically mute out the lyrics and replace them with my own. "I don't wanna be buried in a Peep Sematary", etc. I just got a copy of the movie since I haven't seen it in ages. I can refamiliarize myself with it first. Many thanks for the ideas suggested though. There are some good ideas there. Ones I may use for future projects.

Thus is the nature of the business. Just like Tyr, I often change my mind numerous times before I get an idea that I actually go with. I'm going camping next week so I'll use some of that time to make footage for the music video I have going. After that's done I'll most likely get started on this project.

Actually no. Nothing. I'm rather enjoying my sabbatical from the chaotic world of the sugary little fuckers. I think my next project will be for the fark.com trailer contest. Hell, if I really enjoy it I may do others just for fun.
